Islands on water, not void
The classic Merehold structure — island borders, expansion, and progression — transplanted into a water world. Your island is a place in an ocean, not a platform over nothing, and the shoreline is where your world begins.
A Minecraft MMORPG where your island stands in open water, not the void — and everything that wants to kill you scales to meet you.
Founded by Kaziaki · Successor to Gringor Online (2022–2025)
Below the surfaceEndermere takes the island formula apart and rebuilds it on the water — same borders, same expansion, same progression, but the drop beneath you is the deep.
Endermere is the successor to Gringor Online, the Minecraft 1.21.4 sandbox MMORPG that ran from 2022 to 2025. It keeps the formula that worked — island building, guilds, Abyssal mobs, hard difficulty — under a new name, rebuilt from the ground up.
The defining change is the world itself. Endermere's islands are Mereholds — our own system that works almost exactly like SkyBlock: a bounded plot that you grow, expand, and progress through. But instead of floating over nothing, your island sits in water. Fall off the edge and you don't lose everything to the void — you go swimming, and the sea is part of the world rather than the end of it.
The other change is under the hood. Rather than bolting together other people's plugins, the team is rebuilding what EliteMobs, SlimeFun, and Essentials do as one integrated in-house system — designed for Endermere's islands, scaling, and economy from the start, not adapted to them after the fact.
Gringor Online ran 2022–2025 on Minecraft 1.21.4. Endermere is its same-formula successor — new name, new codebase, everything rebuilt in-house.
Hard difficulty, no shortcuts for sale. Everything below is part of the design Endermere is being built to — nothing more, nothing promised beyond it.
The classic Merehold structure — island borders, expansion, and progression — transplanted into a water world. Your island is a place in an ocean, not a platform over nothing, and the shoreline is where your world begins.
Abyssal mobs don't have a fixed strength. An Abyssal's level is built from your Combat Level plus a bonus from your gear — so better equipment means tougher Abyssals, and tougher Abyssals pay out Abyssal Coins. Out-gearing the world doesn't switch the challenge off; it raises the stakes and the reward together.
Try the formula yourself in the scaling lab below.
The Blackwater Guild is the server's engine for group content: dungeons, lairs, and
sanctums to delve, and a PvE Arena to test a build against
escalating opposition. It's where an island-bound progression opens out into
expeditions — and its hub is one command away: /bg.
Abyssal mobs, island tech, and the everyday server essentials are being rebuilt as a single integrated system by the Endermere team — not a dependency list of third-party plugins. One codebase means the scaling, the islands, and the Blackwater Guild content are designed to fit each other.
Endermere runs on Hard difficulty, and it is not pay-to-win. Power comes from Combat Levels, gear, and what you take from Abyssals — never from a store. The scaling system exists precisely so that progression stays a fight worth having at every level.
Every Abyssal's level is resolved by one rule. Move the sliders and watch what you'd be up against.
Gear below your Combat Level adds nothing — and the bonus never exceeds +10, so levels always matter. Abyssals fought this way drop Abyssal Coins.
Island, combat, the Blackwater Guild — each feeds the next, and the scaling keeps the whole circuit dangerous no matter how strong you get.
Start with a bounded island in open water. Build it out, expand its borders, progress it from a foothold into a base.
Fighting raises your Combat Level — the base number every Abyssal you meet is scaled from.
Gear stronger than your Combat Level pushes Abyssals higher still, up to the +10 cap. Better kit, bigger game.
Take on the scaled Abyssals your level and gear summon. Every one you bring down pays out Abyssal Coins.
Open the Guild hub with /bg, then delve dungeons, lairs, and sanctums, or step into the PvE Arena — and come home stronger to turn the loop again.
…and back to the island, where the next expansion is waiting.
No countdown, no teaser date. This is the honest state of Endermere, updated as the work lands.
The fighting foundation is built: Abyssal mobs with hybrid scaling — Combat Level plus gear bonus, capped at +10 — and Abyssal Coin drops.
Mereholds — Endermere's water-world island system of borders, expansion, and progression — are the next core piece to be built on top of the combat foundation.
There is no launch date, and there won't be one announced until the server is genuinely ready to open.
There is no public server IP and no launch date — so there's deliberately no “join now” button on this page. When the gates open, the address will be published here.
Until then, this page is the source of truth for what Endermere is and how far along it is.
